Susan Anderson and Charlie Bressman were law school classmates and graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln College of Law in 1983. Fourteen years later, they founded what is now Bressman, Hoffman, Jacobs & Quandt. Between graduation and starting their law firm, Susan and Charlie stayed in touch and were even adversaries on a case. Charlie once qualified Dr. Ronald Anderson, Susan’s husband, as an expert witness in a Social Security disability trial. When they partnered, Susan primarily did divorce and Charlie was a jack-of-all-trades, representing private individuals and small businesses.
In 2003, Ryan Hoffman joined the firm as a law clerk. In 2005, he became an associate and in 2012, he became a partner. In 2014, Mark Jacobs joined the firm as an associate and became a partner in 2016. In 2018, Kory Quandt joined the firm as an associate, and became partner in 2023. Ryan J. Thomas joined the firm in 2024, and Juliann Lanphier-Willson returned later that year. Today, Bressman, Hoffman, Jacobs & Quandt operates as a general practice law firm serving Douglas, Sarpy, Washington, Cass, Dodge, Saunders and Lancaster Counties.
